The ring must fit perfectly on your finger, as a ring that's too big or too small will be uncomfortable. When purchasing a ring, keep in mind that finger thickness depends on the time of measurement and the temperature. For example, fingers may be thicker in summer than in winter.
How do I choose the right ring size?
The best way to determine your ring size is to have it measured by a goldsmith using appropriate measuring tools, or to try on different rings. You can also find out your ring size (or get a very accurate estimate) using our free measuring guide. Below you'll find a printable ring size guide.
Ring size varies throughout the day; for example, fingers tend to be slightly thicker in warm weather than in cool weather. Therefore, you should measure your finger size several times a day, for example, in the morning and evening. This will help you determine your correct size with greater certainty.
If you already have a ring in the correct size and want a new one in the same size, the easiest way is to measure the inside diameter of your existing ring in millimeters. We offer a printable ring size chart for this purpose, or you can measure the inner diameter of the ring with a ruler.
Tip: If you can't decide between two sizes, choose the larger version. If you are ordering a wide ring, we recommend choosing a size about half a size (0.5 mm) larger.
